Wrap Interior Trim

Bored of the wood in the interior and wanna wrap it black. Which one of those three you gonna suggest or any other you have tried?

I utterly detest the wood in cars, as it never looks like actual wood. It's just horrible shiny plastic to me.

Mine has the sport trim in silver but like so many of them, the aluminium had started to corrode so I wrapped mine. I went with brushed aluminium as it was more in keeping with the cluster.

This is the one I bought, pretty easy to work with, very malleable even without a hairdryer but quite thick (being the brushed finish) so it was a bit fiddly on the tight areas around the buttons.

I'll confess to not resolving all the corrosion around the gear selector because I wasn't sure I'd like it so I didn't want to sand down what I had initially. As it's been in for a few months I guess I am happy with it so I should resolve that one dark winter evening.

Brushed aluminium is awesome as it looks great and doesn't show the dust .

Piano black is worse than any wood .

If you're after a good quality wrap then 3m 2080 is what you're after. It has great characteristics when it comes to heating, stretching and healing (for when it goes Pete Tong) and is suitable for inside and out.

My Father in law just picked up his Superb Sportline+ and it has a real nice gloss carbon trim so I opted for that in my s204

For me, a luxury car needs wood, when I bought my Jaguar XJ at 19, I adored the walnut trim.

The aluminium style reminds me of my Mum's Audi- boring in my opinion.
I do quite like carbon fibre, provided it is real, not a wrap.

Thanks for the ideas guys, silver is not my colour so I'm not sure yet if I will go with the black or the carbon. As I know if I remove the wrap it will not harm the original trim right?

I used black brushed aluminium style wrap for mine, thought it better than biggest plain black.
