WTD: 16" 8-hole alloys for 129 SL / W124 500E

Just got myself a W124 500E and I am looking for a set of the original 16" 8-hole alloys. I understand that these were also used on the R129 SL.

Do you want the silver painted finish ones, or a polished and laquered ones?

Hi Ricky,

I'm not too fussy really. From the photo's I have seen the 500e normally comes with the silver finished, but I'd certainly consider the polished ones.

The 500e I have bought came fitted with 18" AMG SL split rims, which are heavily corroded under the lacquer and need refurbishing. So my plan was to get a set of 16's to use while I get them done. My final plan being to alternate between the 16s/18s during winter/summer.

Looking at about £280+vat for a decent set of wheels to a club member.
About £350+vat with tyres...
