I’ve been looking at one for my business but thought the 4cyl was pointless because it’s a Nissan engine but I do really like the sound of the proper one that you’re getting with the Mercedes V6.

If you don’t mind me asking, have you leased it or bought it and what sort of money did you pay or going to be paying monthly?

Steve Copley ran one in AutoCAR for a few months and loved it. He said wherever he went he got admiring glances from tradesmen. Which I think missed the point. I could see myself in one of those and have mentioned it to the gaffer. The only thing I didn't like was the shift lever. Other than that, it and the Amarok appear to be way out in front.

Shame the X Class gets the V6 but the W447 Vito doesn't

Although after spending over £5k on the OM642 in my W639 since April (off the road 7 times ) I'd be reluctant to choose a modern diesel again. I see VW have re-introduced petrol engines on the T6 Transporter ... how long before Mercedes follow suit? I guess this is just a stop-gap till petrol hybrid powertrains become common though ... I reckon diesel will be gone from new vans inside 5 years.

Sounds decent. Although, shame about Mercedes using the Nissan key fob with a Merc badge stuck on to it.... you would think that they look at the finer details!

Bought outright leasing no good for me I never know what annual mileage is gonna be so can easily go out of permitted mileage before lease ends with mileage penalties.

yes gear selector should be like the W447 119 and a electronic had brake would be nice
