Other good news:
* This car head unusual head gasket failure earlier in its life and I have an invoice for a complete top end engine rebuild for thousands of pounds. No issues with temperature or coolant use in my ownership.
* 4 good Michelin cross-climate matching tyres with loads of tread left
* All off-road bits work fine. Goes into low range perfectly, hill descent works as it should.
* Interior condition generally very good for the age and miles
* Air suspension works as it should, goes up and down
* Harmon/Kardon audio with iPod connection w/bluetooth adapter - so it has BT music streaming!
* Radar cruise works great
* Adaptive Xenons
* No warning lights
* No rust
* Two keys
* Removable towbar and rated to tow up to 3.5t
Less good news:
* 175k miles but this just means it has been in regular use all its life
* Small bit of damage on the tailgate (see pic)
* Keyless doesn't work on the passenger door (fine on all others)
* Reversing camera module is dead - doesn't work
* I'm not convinced the seat cooling does anything
* Bit of front suspension clonk when it is warmed up, I have replaced some bits but not solved this yet
* Drops a bit on OSR corner if left standing for a few days
I am going to get it in for an MOT this week, so assume for full asking it will have a new MOT. The car is in North Lancs, nr Junction 33 M6.
