X164 headlights

Hi, while trying to replace the sidelights on my 2006 GL (why is this so difficult?) I noticed a loose 3 pin connector on the loom behind each headlight unit. Looks like they have not been connected to anything for some time and all the lights work ok so has anyone got an idea? Seems odd for them just to be hanging about loose?

I've got the same on my GL
But on my wife's ML they are plugged in to the headlight I haven't looked what they are ???

On a side note have you got a reverse camera as I'm trying to find the part numbers to retro fit

Sorry, no rear camera. Would be handy though when backing up the bus! Apparently cooled seats were more important when the car was optioned. Although can't grumble as car is nicely specified. It is just a shame that it is quite difficult to add a rear camera to these cars.
