can someone help me to understand this noise on 350d OM642 engine? The sound is very obvious after 20th second in this video. I dont know if it is normal or something is wrong, but it gives an annoying whistling sound into cabin, especially in low speeds when pressing on gas pedal. I dont hear this sound when the engine is cold. I think at high speeds, this sound occurs but the engine's own sound and wheel noise overtakes this annoying sound. Thanks in advance

Whistling noises when you open the accelerator at a guess could be an air leak somewhere after the turbo. Check for split pipes and leaking seals - get a smoke test is the easiest way to detect leaks
Run it without the belt. Sounds like alternator, or PS pump.

The only thing that makes me confused is the fact that this sound does not occur during first 5mins of driving.
So something is getting hot, then making the noise :0
Warm the engine up, take the belt off and run in for 30 seconds and try and reproduce the noise. If it has dissappeared it's something on the belt drive that requires further investigation.

sure i can try, but i need to learn how to take the belt off and run the engine again
