Then I get the 535d back and change that next year.... potentially!?!

XC90 (R or otherwise) gets the thumbs-up from me.

Saw one of these in the flesh about six month ago and was blown away by the looks, the light coloured interior in particular was stunning.

Love the new XC90....want one but can't afford one yet. Maybe next year.

Cannot think of any reason to say no as long as it is what your wife wants! I am sure it is a nice and very safe drive.

Does it allow you to park & retrieve it from outside the car. It's 2m wide so if you parked at the rail station I use you probably wouldn't get back in when you returned ! IMO it looks much better than the Merc equivalent.

Yay!
Ordered a d5 r design, due end of September!

Cheers all!! Order going in tomorrow. [emoji106]

Lovely looking things :thumb:

Test drove a V90 before ordering my new e-class and it was very nice (lovely interior, super comfy seats, pretty responsive Diesel engine). What drove me to distraction (literally) was the touch screen display. It kept freezing / not responding (tried two cars). Even the sales guy was struggling with and I knew straight away I couldn't live with it. The reviews of the system aren't great either. The touch screen in the Porsche is in comparison superb - never had slightest issue with it.

I would - love the looks of the current XC90 and XC60.

I'd have to have the hybrid R thingy though.

The hybrid is almost twice the price in leasing costs..... Plus she doesn't drive that fast, kids in the car all the time.

What engines have they got now?

Also, has to be the light interior, makes that car imho.

Don't do light in the R design and we have messy kids.....(9 months and 3). Black it is!!!! Lol

I agree it is fine for the missus....for me though [emoji6]

I'd prefer chunkier alloys myself, but the R design body kit looks great

Lovely cars I am told

The wife is driving I would prefer anything she cannot destroy! The inscription is lovely but I want the R design seats.
