I need to change the dipped head light bulb on a 2002 CL500. The user manual says I must take the job to the main dealer. Why is there anything that stops this from being a DIY job?

Piece of piss it is mate dont take it to dealer unless you have vast amounts of cash

as long as the ignition AND lights are switched off you should be fine, also best to do it inside out of wet weather with dry hands.

procedure itself is more or less just like changing a normal bulb.
