Hi,

I'd quarter of a tank of 99 RON in my tank and thought I'd be immature and have a bit of a hoon on my way home. Then as I got nearer home, other traffic arrived and so I settled down to normal driving. I got flashed at by an oncoming nice E-Class. I checked and hadn't accidentally knocked main beam on, and I hadn't...

Further up the road at some lights I noticed that the flat horizontal line my Xenons project was about 15 degrees higher than it usually is (sorry E-Class!). It usually sits around waist height.

I stopped and restarted the engine for it to do it's leveling dip down, then back up thing, and it did so, but returned to this now much higher level.

What've I broken? :dk: Is there a level sensor somewhere?

Not sure if the W204 is the same as previous model, but there are two sensors on the W203 as per this diagram. Check the linkages on them.

Ah. Thanks.

A51 and A52. So there's two sensors... I assume the readings are averaged or these two have to agree, or be ignored or something.

Maybe a hard corner or bump has snapped a leg off one of these then.

I'll have a check.
