Is your headlight like this?

If so, you have ILS and the bulb that seems to do nothing is a cornering bulb,; it is noticeable at night when you turn the wheel. H7 bulb I think.

Yes the exact same
Can you also tell me is the xenon bulb a low or high beam as I want to change it thanks

D1S type
Be aware that the passenger side is a bit of a PITA to change due to the washer bottle being in the way.

Thanks Mikey do you happen to know if the D1S is a low or high beam or do these bulbs have both thanks

If there is a warning for high voltage on the back of the housing it might be a D1s bulb , if it’s an H7 bulb (normal old type) there won’t be a high voltage warning .
Can you not look at the front of the car to see which bulb lights low to high with a helper ?

As far as I know, it's both dip and main (and flash) I've never checked it on mine, but I guess the dip/main works on a shutter system.

If your car is listed as "Bi Xenon" then the bulb is used for both low and high beam by use of a moving shutter.

You can tell by looking at the bulb on dip usually.

The data card will list the headlamp type.

Originally Bi-Xenon headlamps used to also have an H7 Halogen bulb for flashing (HID don't light-up quick enough), though I don't know if this setup was carried over to the W204 facelift.

I just fitted mine last weekend, the pass side has a bit of a restriction for access but it's still possible to get you hands in there to get the bulb out.👍

I have the same headlight but the driver side c shapeLED thing has gone out, do i have to replace the entire headlight or can that be replaced alone?
