Hi all,
I believe there is a slow diesel leak on the passenger side of the engine, from a small fuel hose that I've highlighted in the pictures below. It could be something else, even the injector seals but I'd like to know if anybody knows what this part is called/part number - I'm struggling to locate the part number.
I actually blew the hose with an air gun and it seems to indefinitely mist/weep some fuel, so I wonder if the clip has cut into the hose.
Has anyone here ever changed it and the clips, and if it's as easy as it looks? Tight fit, mind - I hope you don't have to remove loads of crap just to get the space to insert the hose...?
I've also had a worse diesel leak on this side of the engine before, so sometimes I wondered if it was old fuel from that, but there was a tiny but pretty fresh pool of clear fluid right under that hose, along with some dampness along that side of the engine, so I'm assuming/hoping it's some this this 'simple'.
I've cleaned it up and will check the area again tomorrow after using the car.
Cheers,
Ed
