Yes I'm sure it did come with command, as it seems to be very well spec'd, with Distronic radar in front, Auto Wipers\Lights, Bi Xenon's etc, parking front and rear, more I can't recall as well, and this is on a 2003 car, so not cheap or common place at that time I dare say, but yeah it has to be an after market unit (Pioneer AVH - X3600DAB), as they would not be fitted to the car by the factory I dare say, I take it this Star is some sort of unit you plug in, what a joy lol, Thanks for the info.

Star is the dedicated Mercedes diagnostic computer system, find a local MB Specialist who can do this for you

Being in Guildford you are not far from Comand UK who can do this for you

Yep, I found them after searching when my hands allowed me to get online, I remembered the term from the last post, and had been searching about details before I saw these reply's, and yes I seem to be maybe 5 to 7 miles away, I have yet to contact them though as they were shut when I found them, but I fear it will be out of my reach currently, but good to know, Thanks to the both of you.

Let me know how you get on with plugging it into the mb Star system. I've not bothered thus far and set my clock by disconnecting the battery as I too have an aftermarket head unit (that like your seems to hate android and loves I-stuff!)
They are brilliant cars though. Any pictures of yours to share?

Not sure if price will be affordable yet, I have only just found them, and personally I have re-branded everything that is apple to a single brand, I call it iSh!* lol, as to pic's yeah I will try to get some up when I can for you, but once I know the price for the coding then I can figure out how long it will take me to afford it, and let you know.

I have finally got some pic's as requested, but between the weather and my hands, I struggle to do anything these days, I have yet to contact the specialist yet, I can't see the point until I have got more money, which is painfully slow on disability money, but I haven't forgot about it, but as my car is saying it needs a B service in 29 days, I think it was B anyway (I have the memory span of a goldfish lol), so I may be going to them sooner than I expected, because the car showed it as being some months away when I got it, so I don't know why it has changed that date ?

But there is the mind bender, I have not only been able to set my clock, but adjust some lighting, the reverse mirror drop, but I have yet to figure the folding mirrors by key, as I have to manually set these using the fold\unfold buttons, with some other minor changes, but I was also able to set the chair memory, and most remarkable, I was able to set my chair and steering column, to auto adjust by the key being inserted\removed, to make it easier to get in and out of the car, which not only did I not know the car had this, but the Only, time I have seen this feature was on an S320, I can't tell you how much this means to my legs.
