Late last year we ordered an Audi to replace our E estate.

There were a number of reasons, we fancied a change, we could order one any colour we wanted (not just Audi Colours) for a sensible cost and the ride on the test drive was just excellent on standard Air Suspension.

We had every intention of going with an E43 Estate but I just felt cold about the new design, so Audi it was. However that's not why I started this thread.

We got an email last week inviting us to log into "Your Audi" where I can follow the build process from start to finish. Seems like a neat idea and stops you having to ask the dealer for updates. I've never had anything like this with any new car I ordered. I know it's something Ferrari do but I thought it was the preserve of specialist brands. It'll be interesting to see what information is provided in each stage.

Here's a screenshot of where it is so far.

Lexus even provided a link to track my car all the way from Japan...

Now I have the order number will I be able to log in and change the colour to silver?

LOL, you can't change anything on there, it's just an information thing.

You better rush it because the work at their factory is piling up.

All my Mercedes have been already built, so I'm not sure honestly.

I don't like waiting lol but sometimes you have no choice!

My dealer sent me a video of my car being taken off the transport lorry, and also videod the handover. Was a nice touch I thought, and my kids loved it :)

It's not a diesel, job done! Wouldn't be concerned in the slightest about anything else. Well done :thumb:

"Your Audi.". Two words I'd never want to hear. :bannana::rock::rolleyes:

Did they send a video of the tech's ragging it for the PDI:D

They left that one out!

Alfa don't do it either unfortunately. Just a ship name when it leaves Italy

Let's just let Alfa focus on the car building process and not get distracted, they need the Giulia and the Stelvio to work well before they get too clever

Volvo have a similar website. Not for Audis though.
