None of them really. They got sold for a reason. I used to miss my my old Cosworths, Evos, Scoobies, etc until I remembered how much of a wallet hoover they were. Recently sold my 911 that most of mates loved and wanted but to me it was lot of money for a car that I'd not use much.

I miss my old Nokia 3310 more than most cars I've had. The battery was so much better. In fact, I might dig it out later on and I'm sure the battery life will still be on one bar after 10 years or so.

I’ve had a few:

Selling a Range Rover Classic that cost me £800 at the time.

Selling a TVR Tuscan which has now over doubled in value:wallbash:

Buying an SL55 instead of a 996 Turbo which I could have bought for £2.5k more than the SL at the time and would now be worth significantly more :wallbash:

Selling my all original 1998 Yamaha R1

For any of the Porsche enthusiasts here do you think the original Boxster might start to creep up in value in the next few years like the 996 has started to?, early Boxster prices are pretty good at the moment.

Based on the prices being asked by some Porsche specialists, I would have said 3 weeks ago...

Used Porsche for Sale from Paragon Porsche in East Sussex, the Leading Independent Porsche Specialist

Dove House Motor Company – Porsche Ferrari and Aston Martin Specialist in Northamptonshire Midlands

Used Porsche and Prestige Cars For Sale | Harbour Cars

That 996 GT2 Paragon have .

The early Boxsters seem a bit unloved at the moment but I think that might change, I know they had a bit of a rep as a ‘poor mans 911’ and ‘not a proper Porsche’ etc at the time but interior wise they’re very similar to the 996 and they’re actually great handling cars and really fun to drive, I’m going to keep my eyes out for an unmolested, manual 3.2S version in the next year or so.

My old MGBT from when I was 18, seats folded flat ;-).

Not going up to Blenheim Palace to buy an immaculate Jenson Interceptor back in the late 80s. Low miles, garaged, one owner, think it was around 2K.....

The time I turned down a ~10yo e-type - for £200. Mind you, £200 was a lot of money 1980. It was wasn’t it? a lot of money - £200 - please say it was.

It must have been. I think my parents' first house was something like £7k or £9k in 1976...

Selling my ’77 Porsche 911 for £7500 back in 1991 and my ’89 420SL for £9500 in 2004. Two cars I should have held on to!

Found the only picture I have of my 911. I really should have kept that car. T'was a LHD German import.

I remember my dad buying a brand new Datsun Laurel 200L for £6029 in 1980 :)

Hmm, maybe my figures are wrong then.

I know cars used to be more expensive but I'd be surprised if a Datsun Laurel was the same price as a house (reasonably-sized 3 bedroom semi in a nice village in saaf Lundun...)?

20 years ago My wife thought it would be good idea to move to smaller house so ended up selling my Mk1 1500GT Cortina , Mk2 1600E and 2x Mk3 2000E Cortinas plus and 8 x 8 shed full of spares doors glass wings trim engines axles etc , you would struggle to buy a door now for what I sold couple of the cars for , 24 month later we were divorced and car and house prices had rocketed arhhhhhh

In 1984, turning down a 1971 MGB roadster, in white with the metal bumpers and wire wheels, immaculate for £100!

I have a 1973 MG midget in white. Chrome bumpers with hard top. Has to be the most uncomfortable car ever made.

I sold a garage workshop for nothing, in the corner was a 1962 racing mini with full race Downton cooper engine and all the right bits to either put on the road or track. I simply left it there and life got complicated with new job, new mortgage, new kids.
A few years later I went back to see if it was still there!!!!!!!
I still sometime bite my pillow to deaden the sound of the sobbing, and all that was 45 years ago.

Wow, a Superbird, never seen one in the flesh! A beast. I had a 68 Roadrunner.

Did you ever see videos of the Superbirds racing in Nascar? You would have to endure some minor trepanning before going out with that lot.
