Your thoughts on the Pioneer DEH-P77MP

Hello chaps ...

Im looking to buy a new head unit , I like the simple look of the pioneer DEH-P77MP ....but dont like the small display !

I need to be able to play mp3's

Can anyone give me an opinion on this head unit ?

Wow, looks real retro....but classsy too.

Looks like its got all the bells and whistles too with 3 Pre-outs and an "Automatic Sound Leveliser"?? I assume this to be reffrering to the voume?

I'm tempted by that even if you're not!

Ok Just been reading the forums on caraudio.co.uk ...they rate the head unit too ....
the only downside to it is that it doesnt come with a remote control.

I think ill end up buying it anyway .

Sorry not to my taste.I think if you dont like the size of the screen, sooner rather than later you will wish you bought something better for the same money.

Have you looked in the back of Max Power they have loads of ads ,If you can manage to get past all the totty I found this one really quick.But I had to go back and check to see if I hadn't missed anything else.HeHe

Yeah ive had a look !

Ive also dealt with www.caraudiodirect.co.uk and found them to be just as good.

The going rate for this hu seems to be around the £230 mark.
