zif 1.8" cable

my friend was trying to upgrade the hdd in a Acer Aspire one, the new hdd is 60gb zif, but unfortuanlty when trying to push cable in, it seems a little to thick, and he damaged the edge.

does any one know ehere to source these cables from, pref in the UK

You can order these from Farnell listed under FFC http://uk.farnell.com/ once you know the size connector pitch etc.
