Thanks for confirming the idle readings, that definitely helps :) With the sensor disconnected I was getting around 4500mbar??? I'll have a look at the said pin hole but for the minor cost I'll just replace it to eliminate. What kind of issues were you having with your car?

Hi, my w221 has been running a little rough and I get a bit of smoke now and again when I put the foot down. I scanned codes using my icarsoft and have the bank 1 sensor 1 coming up, can someone point me to the location of this plz? Also any DIY for this and is it a difficult job? Thanks.

I managed to get this sorted ;) There appeared to be a loose (intake? not sure what it's called) pipe near the turbo. Once I pushed this firmly in, the noise disappeared as far as I can tell so far. Now to get the codes read and sort the electrical gremlins in the car....

I managed to get the battery tested by a local Kwik-Fit who confirmed the starter battery is faulty. It's not holding a charge and on it's last legs. Looking for a replacement now so will report back once changed to confirm it all sorted. Thanks for all your help :)
