    Viseeo, UHI, Comand and Confused!!

Less confused now :) Viseeo MB2 works perfectly with the UHI in my W209 CLK Convertible. I guess mine must be one of the first cars to have it (Sept 2003) Even the manual has references to the build in Nokia kit and no mention of UHI

    Viseeo, UHI, Comand and Confused!!

I have a W209 CLK Convertible. Its a Sept 2003 car with the Comand 2.0 Sat Nav. It also has a UHI connector with a Nokia 6820 cradle in the armrest. If I want to put in a Viseeo Bluetooth adapter do I A) Purchase a Viseeo MB-2 (MBU-2000) and replace the current 6820 cradle with it or B)...

    Factory fresh

I had mine done by a company called WheelRepairIt (google them) Their excellent and I have used them for years. They do a great job and come to you - they turn in in a monster van with all the kit on board and restore them at your home. The most important thing is they de-bead the tyre before...

    Factory fresh

The leather was cleaned with Autogym leather cleaner and conditioner - and when I mean conditioner I mean the whole bottle! Treated time and time again and left to soak in each time. I also never let the leather get dirt on it, I go through Armorall leather wipes like loo roll! The drivers seat...

Thinking of selling my CLK55 AMG

Honestly...the thing is too fast, I am going to lose my licence. While I am no stranger to powerful cars having had TVR's, the way they go about they business is different. The Griff 500 was all about blasting away from traffic lights but at high speed was quite unstable and no fun, the Merc is...

    Chevrolet hell!

Had a 6 month old 5000 mile Corsa 'Life' (I think thats what it was called) while Merc were fixing some rust on the CLK a few months back. I believe it was the ECO version and it had the most awful ride and road noise, I swear the tyres where running at about 70PSI to get the rolling resistance...

CLK 55 in for service GULP?

Don't let them take the pi$$ with the interim service just because its an AMG. The list of work is in the manual and its a basic oil change and check over In fact so basic that even though mine just had the service done before I bought the car i re did it myself in under an hour. At least I...

    Factory fresh

Yes, but you have the phone option, mine doesn't (very jealous) Although I do have folding mirrors :D I really happy with the way she has come up. When I picked her up she looked stunning from 15feet but up close there were a list of little jobs. Tiny bit of rust of the drivers rear arch...

    Factory fresh

Well over 6 months after purchasing a virtually mint CLK55 AMG - its now fully mint :) and ready for its public unveilling. Work has gone into the bonnet and bumper, the drivers side rear arch, all 4 alloys, leather, replaced even one of the wing Avantgarde badges as it had a little water...

    Bose and Harmon Kardon

I have Bose in my CLK55 and Hamon Kardon Logic 7 in my LR Discovery. The Bose is nothing special but the HK.... well thats just stunning, fabulous.

    Thinking of leaving the fold...

Agreed :) Saying that the CLK55 isn't that bad. I have a 200mile round trip coming up on Saturday and I am talking the Merc as it gives better MPG than my 2.7 TDV6 Discovery. Hmmm perhaps I really should think about a Polo Bluemotion as a 3rd car!
