Can a level sensor blow a 10a fuse? I would say it's doubtful... But I'm not certain. When the fuse was ok, all lights went out and it was running perfectly. Still scratching my head. Nightmare!

Already done, also replaced it as some said that visually it looked fine and even tested fine but still failed. Not sure how that works, but replaced for good measure. Have the heated seat buttons flashing too, apparently another common symptom. M55 bypassed via resistor mod @ the ECU. Fan...

As far as I understand it protects the pcv heater, m55 motor and engine fan. I've replaced the fan and bypassed the m55. Same issues. Looking at the heater now. The heated seat switch just flashes on mine but the main fuse by the battery is fine.

Is there a relay for the engine fan? Maybe that's blown.

Power was fully restored after the fuse was replaced though, albeit for a short period of time.

Nah don't think it's that. Plus that wouldn't cause the fuse to pop. Drove perfectly before and replaced the fuel filter since too.

Wiring appears to be fine. It's pretty thick wire too. Could the m55 burn out?

Yeah I understand that whatever was at fault has fried but it shouldn't effect anything else. Car still runs and drives. I'm interested in what else is on that fuse that's drawing the current as replacing the fan and fcu hasn't resolved the issue. None of the wiring has suffered either. I'm...
