need some help, where or how do i get the number for my high pressure diesel pump, the one on the front of the engine that looks like a three pointed star ,that has the two fuel lines coming from it as i need to order a bosch seal kit and need the number to get the right one ,thanks in advance.

looking for a body kit for my 2003 ml270 and also looking for a place that i can buy a normal rear bumper for the ml270 aswell for when i have to tow or even better a kit that allows you to put on the removable tow bars that u can fit to the ml270 thanks in advance ,have search the net but keep...

can get a new core assembly basically everything inside the housing all balanced up and ready to go for 280 +VAT not bad ,or a bearing and seal kit for 75 +VAT from a place called turbo repairs .

thanks all will look into it but defo not paying 791.99 for a turbo will get it refurbed somewhere.

how do i find out what turbo i have on my 2003 cdi ml270,and can you buy a reconditioning kit for it ie new bearings and seals ?? if so where would i get them ?, thanks .

no m8 i left the motor attached and it worked ok no problems at all :thumb:

well the manifold is back in and everything is connected and topped up,took it for a blast down the m8 and my goodness gracious me the old dog was flying so the actuator motor must be ok and the manifold is air tight as i replaced the 5 seals and the seal where the boost pipe connects into...

thanks for that , it was the conformation i was looking for just incase my manifold actuator is knackered ,there is only 3 pins in the ML270 and apparently you find the brown wire and attach it to the other 2 wires ,will need to read up on the egr shunt as mine is vacum operated on the 2003...

what i mean is does the resistor have to be soldered onto wires then plugged into the vehicles socket for the actuator or can i plug the resistor directly into the plug??

am still looking for the answer to how to put the resisitor on the car to fool it into thinking the motor is wired up ?Do you just put the resisitor straight into the plug that fits into the motor and can it be as simple as that would be much appreciated if somebody could confirm this thanks

well, all that i have read about this says that the flaps dont effect fuel economy and they if anything give more power and as far as i am aware this removal of the flaps is the cheap fix to the manifold as compared to a new manifold its hundreds of pounds cheaper ,eurocar parts were quoting me...

the manifold is off and the mod is getting done on tuesday i have another thread detailing this fix, i might put up the photos when i am done to help any body else who wants to do this if i can manage this ,do you need to upload from photo bucket or some other site or can you upload straight...
