Just wandering what you guys think about this quote? It’s a MB independent specialist in Sussex.. I’m having the work done but I might just make the effort to go to Hampshire next time.

A diagnostic at my indy costs £79. Guess it depends on the cost of parts and how much labour would be involved.

Diagnostic check cost ?+ parts cost ?+ how many labour hours ?

All the above will denote the final figure.

You can price the parts yourself first , that will answer most of your price question

It might not sound cheap or worth it to you but it's now sorted so in a way, they've done the job. How much would it cost for the hoses and time to fit them?

If it's John Haynes in Worthing it will be costly but will include quality parts and be done properly.

What parts were included? You can find the MB proces quite easily if you have the part numbers.

I'd imagine hoses could be £100 each for genuine and diagnostic at around £50 would only leave around 2 hours labour so sounds about right? For reference Land Rover charged me £200 per hour!
