Mercedes SL500 R230 Boot-Soft closing issue

Hey.
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this lovely weather.

I have recently bought an SL500 R230 07plate. I have an issue with the boot. All electric works and it opens and closes with no issues however when Im closing it, the pump doesnt suck it in. I took the fuse out and put it back it and it works. But then after few times it goes back to the same thing.

Can anyone help? I dont think there is an issue with the soft closing pump as it works.

Hi there, I bet you, you have a leak, usually cracked actuator, very, very common, if its not the actuator it could be broken fins inside your pump, which you can buy replacements and if you are good, can do it yourself.
