Trying to get my 1996 S280 gearbox serviced (I am in South Australia)
The local garage, that lots and lots of people here, recommend i use tell me that the parts book only lists a 722.3 service kit for my car. My build sticker says that my gearbox is a 722.419......... will the 722.3 kit fit?
They also tell me that the gearbox required specialist transmission fluid @ 6.5 litres which i don't dispute, but cant tell me how much additional fluid/type is required for the torque converter (i understand there is a separate sump plug for the torque converter)?
