OP - please let us know which one you used and how you found the service. I’m sure there are a fair few saarf Londoners on here.

No I believe he may be contacted on Instagram.. someone on here said they found him but never elaborated further!
Many thanks- I've gone local as he had just recently done one(V6 Oil Cooler Seals) & the price was about the same, so easier for me than South London.

Any details pal?

Hi mate I have an e350cdi coupe which seems to have the oil cooler leak. Could you give me some info of the specialist you used please?

Thanks
Hi there. Apologies for the delay as I just saw your message. It was in Ruislip NW London(I can dig out the number if you need it) & they had done one the week before & maybe 7 or 8 before that. Of course the bill increased from the quote as X broke doing it & I always regretted having it done- not because they did a poor job but my cheap "Bangernomics" car doubled in price overnight. Of course the seal can fail totally & your engine is lunched but personally I like the challenge of getting a couple of years out of a cheap car(just coming up to 280,000 miles now). There are some excellent YouTube videos on doing it yourself but of course they make it look easy & there are other jobs it is prudent to do when they do the work- far beyond my skill set. Good luck.

Thank you mate appreciate the reply. I’m sure your cars been good and 280k miles now, just barely run in 😉

I have a specialist who will be checking the car next week. I have initially changed the turbo outlet an PCV breather seals as well as the green and black o rings. Im hoping its not the oil cooler seals but it seems like this is a very common issue on these motors so fingers crossed 🤞

Cheers
