Broken key fob. Help........

Hi folks



Ive damaged my key fob on my c class 03 plate. It's the three button fob. How do I go about getting a new one. Seen some on eBay but I think I've damaged the chip inside as it won't open cars so don't think a eBay new case will fix my problem.

Well MB for a new key or Mark at mercedes replacement keys for a re programmed key.

I believe Mark is in Birmingham.

As a price comparison they are £227 inc VAT from a main dealer. Takes about 5 working days. You will need V5 / ID / Utility Bill. The £227 also includes a new metal blade key.

If you manage to get one from elsewhere please post the details up here as I would like to know if there are alternatives other than the main dealer.

Try vkm auto locksmiths in peterborough. I believe they can repair for £50. Search on eBay as they advertise on there.

I used them for my speedo repair and they were top notch.
