Just got some MB camber bolts (front) for my 230k....

Does anyone know where exactly they should be fitted and how they fit etc?

Thanks

First you need to know which setting is out of tollerance, castor or camber.

Car up on ramps, suspension normally loaded. Remove the undertrays for access.

The front bolt should adjust the castor and the rear bolt the camber, this is due to the rear bush being in line with the lower balljoint and the front bush being forward of this point.

Undo the nut and drive out the appropriate bolt following in with a drift or spare bolt.
Drive the new bolt in with one washer fitted with the tab facing in toward the subframe.
Turn the bolt to push the wishbone either inwards or outwards. If the washer tab is toward the centre of the car the wishbone will be pushed outwards, if towards the outside of the car the wishbone will be pushed inwards.
You will need to turn the bolt to engage with the > < points in the subframe. This is obvious when you see it.
Add the other washer and nut and tighten up.

There is no adjustment once the bolt is in position, this mod gives approx 3mm adjustment.

Cheers for that, when you say there is no adjustment once the bolt is in position do you mean that once fitted, the bolts change the camber by a certain amount rather than providing a range of adjustment?

If so does this mean i will not need to get the camber professionally set as it will be at a fixed value once the bolts are fitted?

Thanks for the advice.

That is correct, the bolts adjust by a fixed amount.
