hi i need help my clk 320 convertible is not well .when i turn on my ignition the temperature gage moves up but engine cold ,when i turn engine over it ticks over roughly and stops start again the same then it smells of petrol turn over again and its ok but when you stop at a junction the revs drop down and you think its going to stall could it be bad spark plug .

Your best bet is to get someone to read the codes with a Star machine, that should give you a better idea of whats failed
