Yes I had quite an emotional attachment to my old Mk6. Right up until the rear axel fell off due to the rust.

That's what the V8 is for. We only do 5 or 6k pa in the van so I'm good with that.

My other half does maybe 13k or more pa, mostly all local in the car.
I've switched her over to an EV so I'm comfortable that I'm doing my bit.
