I use this feature on my e350 ( 17 reg ) .
It may work on similar years .
Have your trip screen as shown , with ign in position 1 . No ign lights.
Then press and hold phone , within 1 second press OK and hold both for a few seconds . You then should see the battery voltages and amps . Scroll to assyst plus for service history resets etc. Do this at your risk if it upsets your service schedule.
