How you average speed cameras work?

the only thing that saves us in the UK is the miles of red tape needed for "type approval" before the new stuff goes live.

Coincidentally, a co-worker had a NIP from Swindon and brought it into the office yesterday. We were able to log on to the website using the NIP number and see the video clip and the stills from the camera van.

The "overtaking over a solid white line" was obvious as was his face through the windscreen!

On the plus side, a few enlargements with added flames, logos etc have made it onto e-mail which was funny.

True, but early versions of these systems could not handle lane changes. Not sure for how long but the error was quicky corrected!
