iPhone 4S text delivery reports

On my previous phones, text delivery reports were easy to select and reliable.

On the i4S some texts show "delivered", other's don't.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

On my iP4, I get a warning if a text is not delivered rather than a confirmation of the delivery.

Thanks, I've seen that, the red exclamation mark, however, some also say "delivered" underneath, but it's patchy.

IOS 5 has imessage for free iphone to iphone txts , imessage shows as delivered (txt in blue box) , normal txting (green box)shows nout

Aha, as Alan said, perhaps the ones I've seen delivered were to other iPhones (though I thought I'd seen delivered under green boxes) .

Does a text to another iPhone automatically become an imessage?

It does provided they are on IOS5, if on an earlier version I'm not sure.

As long as the iphones are running IOS5 then imessage will kick in when you have a data signal (3G/E) or Wifi.

Like said above, blue box = imessage. Green box = normal text..

Ive never seen the delivered notice on normal text messages, only imessages..

Makes a simple delivery report I get on a non smartphone seem so ...........perfect.

I'm guessing there's an app for delivery reports .

I really need delivery reports.
