My other half had a shunt the other day.

Our 1999 W220 S500 vs 55 plate Vauxhall ?

The Vauxhall hit the Merc in the rear @ around 35MPH - 40MPH. The results can be seen below.

I'm hoping the insurance company won't write off my Merc as it has a decent LPG system fitted, boot lid wont stay closed and the shut lines don't now match, drives fine, what do folk think??

What if the insurance company insist it's a write-off? and refuse to repair?

The other driver has admitted responsibility and we do have full coverage.
 
Really? I would have thought they would perform exactly the same given exactly the same crash?

You can demand for it to be repaired. They will repair up to 100% of car value. My brother in law is an accident repair guy & this is his info not mine so don't hold me to that but he just said its true.

I didn't realise that was an S600 limo or I'd forgotten.

And the only person who survived Was in the front and wearing his seatbelt! Says it all really imho.

She would died anyway. They wanted her dead. Murdered she was.
