retrofit digital climate control clk?

Hi all,

i have a 2001 clk convertible with manual twisty dials, have managed to source a digital display and new facia plate - would this be a straight forwward swap? or do i need to adapt the loom etc?? if so anyone know what other parts i need??

Its a big job, its not just a chase of changing the facia and controls. All the inner workings are different so you would need to swap the complete heating system im afraid.

Plus you're looking at removing the dash in order to install mechanicals behind it as well as other looms. Steve at MBenzNL had done this to his W202, although it's a different model, the principles were the same and it took him the best part of 2 weeks to figure out which wire in the loom doesn what.
