Car
2005 CLS 500 V8
Ok I am obsessed with cars, or have got to be this way over the year haha. I love my CLS 500 and only had over month but I have fell for a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte.

The sound and aspect of being an entry level super car astounds me. I know the servicing costs, among many are wild but you only live once. That will cost me £21k with only 45,000 on clock etc.

S what can I realistically expect to sell at:

Model: CLS 500, 5 Ltr V8
Year: Late 2005
Miles: 74,200 (Mostly motorway)
Color: Iridium Silver
Shift: 7G Auto
Fuel: Petrol (I use Shell High Octane) & LPG Converted by AGS (Best in UK)
Service History: Full
Mods: Full AMG Bodykit, Official AMG Alloys, Official AMG twin Exhaust Tips
Gloss Black Vinyl roof, (upgrading front grill to SLS style)
Keys: 2 Official
Tracker: Yes
Condition: Excellent, usual odd stone chip on skirts.

You will need to document more ( history service intervals mileage what's been done service wise, tyres and pics IMHO to sell plus a price.

** lots of comparable cars on autotrader which will give you a general idea on price

Ill get service pics shortly. Tyres are standard hankook, nothing fancy, all in good order. I bought for £8k but seller listed at 9 and I negotiated with few extra things to get my price.#

Cheapest on Autotrader is £7.1k but I am concerned by that, I think that car may have underlying issues at that price. I would like my £8k back.

Servicing items has been fairly modest and low, services carried out largely at 10k intervals and by Independent Mercedes Specialists. I will also be putting through Mercedes 7+ Service as I feel there is not alot needs doing.

Your service book doesn't show much info esp the last one. I suppose if you have all the receipts to back up the work carried out you shouldn't have issues selling, not wishing to sound negative but I doubt you will get your 8k back. GLWTS.

haha thanks, but I bought my Range Rover for 15k, sold for 16.5k and bought back for 14k :)

Good luck with the Masser and keep hold of that £8k you are going to need it when the clutch and nitrogen system need renewing, at 45,000 it will just be at the end of the life of the second clutch so make sure it's been done before you buy it. There are very few people that can set these up correctly including the dealers and setting the kiss point is an art best left to independents or motorsport dealers that know the car inside out. :thumb:

I think the lpg conversion is a good selling point and should help IMHO

Where is it located ?

Need more pics please

Sure your not a trader lol ;)

The horror stories dont phase me if I am honest, live once thats how I live life. Yes I know a few good dealers who wont give me BS sales tactics.

Yes the conversion was £1,450. I get full tank for £45 and get about 200 miles, its extra fuel capacity should you need it after filling petrol,

Northern Ireland, more pics below but without the Black Gloss Vinyl roof.

Inside interior is immaculate, rear seats never sat in, or its not showing.

Unfortunately, for some (myself included) an LPG conversion would be a put off. Not being able to take it into the channel tunnel is a negative point as are concerns with the quality of install and whether there's an externally visible LPG filler.

Looks like a nice car though...

Good luck with the QP they're stunningly cars.

The gas system was fitted by the most reputable in the U.K, full service manual/documents. The filler cap is not visible, as it is under the rear diffuser :). Thanks the QP are amazing
