Slightly off topic question regarding Autotrader

From what I've seen with private ads there is a maximum time for an advert run of around 5 weeks then the person has to take out another advert. Do traders have an option to have the advert online permanently until they make a sale as some seem to be for sale for ages without selling and if they keep paying to re-advertise the cost would quickly mount....

There's an option for a 6 week online advert for private sellers, I'm sure if it doesn't sell after that time you can just relist it immediately, usually with a discount.

Ok, wondered if it was different for trade sellers as watching a car that can't sell and thinking if they just let it sit up there and re advertise they are just dwindling money away on a car mispriced!

Traders generally work on a fixed subscription from auto trader. Think mobile phone style contracts!
