Vinyl wood interior from Turkey?

Hi all I have a 300e carat duchelet a d although lovely being a woodworker I like the idea of a vinyl wrap on door cards dash etc. Has anyone tried this and would advise it? Or is it tacky?

Have the parts hydro dipped instead. The finish is superior.
