w123 230e one electric mirror

Is it normal to only have the passenger side mirror electric on my 1985 w123 230e merc it seems to be as there is no switch to switch between mirrors on a cursor to control the one.
Maybe it is because you can reach the drivers side ajuster and not the passengers side.

My w124 ce only has an electric mirror on the nearside, because as you say , you can reach teh lever thing on the drivers side.

Nice one i supose it is good to keep it simple the more gadgets the more gadgets to go wrong.
