W203 C200 Kompressor A/C & Bluetooth

Sounds stupid I know but on my wife's C200 is the A/C on or off when the red indicator is on ??....... The manual doesn't make it too clear & there isn't any real difference in temp when the light is on or off, I will get it re-gassed but just wondered which position is off & which is on , also does this car have Bluetooth ?, there are phone symbols on the steering wheel but no Linguatronic 'face' symbol that my car has so is there a special kit I need or do I need to buy something like a ' Parrot ' kit ?? The car is a 2004 model with the facelift audio head unit etc !...... Again sorry for sounding dumb

The air-con is off when the light is on.

It had me fooled to start with.

All W203's have the phone buttons. A cost cutting exercise by Mercedes. You need to check the top of the centre armrest for a bluetooth adaptor socket to see if you have the phone pre wiring. The top section of the armrest will open sideways if you have it. Pictures below.

Facelift models have Audio20 if no comand unit/sat-nav.
Retro fitting the phone pre-wiring is mega bucks, better to go with Parrot or something similar. Check out Mercedes Comand Navigation and Audio Specialists - Forum sponsors.
