W203 rear seat back with armrest

I think that Mercedes 'dropped the ball' on this one. As the vehicle is only a four seater and has a large transmission tunnel, it lends itself to having separation on the rear seat by inclusion of an armrest. I want to retro fit a rear N/S back section with integral arm rest from a W203 Estate / Saloon to my W203 Sports Coupe. Can anyone advise if this a direct replacement or will it require modifications? Also, my existing seats are finished in Alpaca Grey Artico pseudo leather sports trim (pic attached). Was this an available option at the time for either the estate or saloon?

A quick look at the line drawings of the coupe vs saloon suggests that the rear seat backrest and squab are wider in the saloon;

Thank you for your reply. It’s a no go then. Shame, it would have been a useful modification. I didn’t have the line drawings to refer to.

Pretty sure the C Class coupe was based on the previous C Class and not the W203, so completely different underpinnings.
