My SL500 R230 (2003 car) won the division for two door cars less than ten years old in the Enthusiast's Class held at MBUK HQ. The Enthusiast's Class is intended for ''daily runners'' and judging concentrates on the exterior of the car with the roof up. The interior is judged by viewing through the closed windows and there is no inspection of the engine bay, boot, nor the underside of the car.
I spent between 30 and 40 hours preparing the car and so I am delighted with the recognition received.
