    It's not that they are too dear, it's just that I can't see the need for replacement after only 15500 miles. I will buy an air filter element, (Mercedes part) on line and fit it myself and wait until next service to replace the fuel filter. I only do around 5000 miles each year.

    Hi my E220d is due a B Service. Mercedes are saying they want to change the air and fuel filters at a cost of £180.00 despite both having been replaced less than 16000 mile ago, Do i need to?
