E270 CDI for sale Mines for sale (I love her, but company car forces sale :-( )...

I've had my E270CDI (from new) since December of last year. So far, no problems other than a few rattles that I hope will be sorted out during it's first service in a couple of weeks. I went for the optional 17" wheels that came with Continental tyres - which seem to offer plenty of grip.

Slick 50 is/was a product that supposedly teflon coats the inside surfaces of your engine. Alas, there's a lot of evidence that it's totally ineffective and can even harm the engine (blocks the breather pipes). Relax though, in my mis-guided youth I used it on many an occasion without any...

Actually, having re-examined the W203 instructions - it may be similar - it's just that the pics not very clear. I've tried poking around with a flat blade screwdriver and I'm still non the wiser. Can you explain verbally?

Thanks very much for the posting - however, having checked, my wing mirror assembly bears little resemblance to that of the W203. Your effort was much appreciated anyway.

For what it's worth - I disagree. My reason for posting is not to advertise the incident, but to seek advice on the repair from the MB community at large. Hence if you have to move it, I feel that the bodywork section would be a more appropriate home.
