Fixed it. I had connected up a couple of the vacuum lines wrong, as a result the inlet flaps didn't work as designed. The attached diagram was a big help. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Yes I suspect it's air-related as well. There's a vacuum in the tank so could be a blocked breather pipe maybe. I'll go for a run with the fuel cap off later and subject to the outcome I may have to take the engine cover off and clean some more gunk out. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

So I recently treated the old girl to some new parts, I replaced all six glow plugs as well as the fuel line (I had had a leak for a few weeks) along with all 12 moulded rubber hoses for the breather pipes. After putting her back together she starts up absolutely fine, replacing the glow plugs...

Does anybody have an aftermarket unit knocking about, with sat nav etc? 7" or 8", not overly fussed. There seems to be quite a few Android units on eBay/Amazon and I thought I'd try my luck on here on the off chance you wanted to get rid. Bluetooth streaming compatibility would be a big plus...

Thanks! Tbh I had a bit of a job finding one in the right spec, with light nappa interior, heated seats, front/rear parking sensors (i.e. Parktronic as it turns out!) and AMG Sport package all being must-haves. Ended up paying a bit of a premium for the privilege but in fairness the low mileage...
