I had that on my w211, i think their used to be a anti-glare coating that looked awfull when it started coming off (possibly caused by previous owner wiping it with something abrassive) I used tooth paste to remove it completely, it looked fine. Hope this helps :thumb:

I adore the M5, the only thing that would stop me buying one if i was searching, would be no history, if you know of the cars treatment/servicing then get it snapped up, their may well come a time when we are taxed beyond beleif to even consider buying one of these monsters..let alone owning...
