Advice needed, My 2012 B Class 180 CDI has had a transmission failure of some sort. No advanced warning no funny noises, then today as I approached a round about there was a stutter from the box, and a small mechanical sound as I then applied the power onto the roundabout transmission failed...

Had the same problem with my 2012 B180cdi, until I replaced the battery, one very expensive gell battery later the eco system now works every time, It would appear that it will not operate with low battery voltage or amps available to crank the engine

We have an 03 ML270 (163) found out today that the tailgate is not locking with the rest of the doors :mad: Any suggestions as best order of checking things and where to start, could this be why the indicators have never flashed on locking the car since we have had it ? Thanks in advance

Have just bought a 2003 M class, l seem to remember a post about changing the auto trans fluid, the car seems a little slow to pull away but appears fine once rolling. Also oil recommendations, serviced 6000 ago but no note of oil grade used. Any advice appreciated. LJ
