Just had my ML repaired by PCS, Olly and Co... First class.

A big thanks to Olly, Jack and Graham at PCS for looking after my ML270 that went in for a service and Injector fault last thursday. Jack showed me the thread stripped on the injector bolt and that it would not be ready on the Thursday so without question , arranged for a hire car for me to...

Another possible cause that happened on my ML was the MAF sensor which also causes loss of power and no kickdown.

Then next step to check thermostat or fan as DM has mentionioned Regards

I think the first thing to do would be to check the level of the coolant under the bonnet when it has cooled down and look for any apparant leaks and top up with the correct antifreeze. Regards

I had all of the plastic fuel lines and high pressure fuel pump done by Fensomes Indi in Luton and had very good service and a reasonable price. regards

I have a 2004 7 seat Lux pack that has just done 100k and love it. The things that have gone on mine have been Maf sensor Thermostat Fuel lines High pressure pump Apart from above just service items and a two gearbox oil changes and she runs like a dream. Mark

This is quite common when changing the Thermostat. It is probably best to change all three fuel pipes IMO as they get very brittle. The cost is approx £70 for all three and you will need two clips for the line that goes behind the belt into the fuel pump. Regards.
