What is the most comfortable yet quick estate or SUV for <12,000 quid ?

My comment was about Roberto's second suggestion: Audi A6 Avant on S line.

Harsh suspension and low profile tyres would give it a hard ride, surely?

Do Public Car Parks put you off taking your "pride & joy"?

Is there a risk of losing yours, in amongst a sea of other cars? .

Do Public Car Parks put you off taking your "pride & joy"?

For sure. My comment was about the 98% who don’t have a Blue Badge, and who shouldn’t be wasting their time trying to park 10 metres from the front door, because a two minute walk won’t kill them.

    255, 35, R18 ***QUIET*** tyres recommendation ?

Who’s doing the alignment? Do they know what they’re doing, like Micheldever Tyre Services? Or are they just tyre fitters with very basic alignment kit?

Nothing to worry about. Just different production batches

Do Public Car Parks put you off taking your "pride & joy"?

Yes, but for different reasons. I tend to use the smaller car for errands and the nicer to drive car for “trips.” Car parks? They make me chuckle as everyone fights for the right places close to the entrance, while 20-50 metres away there’s loads of space and no need to park next to anyone...

    Another Steering Wheel From Royal!

Have you tried a little Autoglym or "Furniture Clinic" leather cleaner ? If not, it would be worth a weekend hour to see how much it could be brought up Just a thought. Royal are excellent, but if your wheel is structurally good, it's worth a try.

Looks pretty good to me. Are you sure it doesn't just need a "wash and brush up?"

Not that anyone ever uses a Roller at full blatt. One rolls in a Roller

It’s a Rolls Royce: they never declare bhp, except that the power is always “adequate.”
