Doing alot searches on the internet, a few people had the same problem and everything is pointing at the eis and or sam unit...there's one guy who had the exact problem, but didn't post on how he got on and what part was at fault also the MB specialists reading this are these dealer only parts...

yeah i agree too, i had my lower arms replaced on my w203, then experienced no clunking noises during low speeds, and also the steering wheel use to vibrate when going 50-70 mph

i had the same problem, some wires get cut/exposed on part of the seat frame, this happened to the bottom right of the seat near the hinge area (drivers seat on mine), erm i just took the seat back off and the seat control module/ trim off...then just inspect the wire, you'll have cut part of...

sorry for the late post, but changed the battery, the car runs alot smoother now so i figure the car needed the battery change, fingers crossed all goes well from now on

just an update for anyone interested in the thread met up with willow132 today, fault codes read - his laptop looked like it was full of error codes for my car all relating to components running on low voltage so was advised to change the battery for now and few other bits, and see how it...
