If I remember correctly the normal MkI engines were pre-crossflow - ie the exhaust and inlet were on the same side of the engine.

That always seemed more realistic but that's not how it read to me.
So basically if you have an oil change they'll guarantee that the oil won't break down and the filter won't self destruct over the next 12 months.
