Yes after switch off!! Just lot louder than I've ever heard, quite annoying especially at night when the street is quiet!

I went for a c180 coupe petrol as I also only do 5-6K per year. Everyone I spoke to said don't buy a diesel for short journey motoring.. Also the petrol engines are very smooth.. I would like a bit more MPG but even if I'd have gone diesel route the fact that I don't cover enough miles still...

I too have the same problem with the EXhaust ticking after engine off, has any body had any luck in sorting it before I take it in to have it checked ? Thanks

Hi new to the forum. Uv just picked up my 2012 c180 coupe 2weeks ago. I seem to be experiencing the ticking exhaust sound after the engine is turned off even hear it faintly at idle. Has anyone found out what the issue is I'm taking it into dealership on Thursday so they can have a quick look...
